Reece Colley Captures Isle of Man Caliburn Masters Open Title

The Isle of Man Caliburn Masters Open produced another superb standard of darts at the Villa Marina in Douglas as part of the Isle of Man Caliburn International Darts Festival. Proudly supported by Caliburn Darts, L-Style, the Isle of Man Tourism Board and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, the event attracted a huge field and delivered quality right through the draw.

After a demanding run through the knockout stages, it was Reece Colley who claimed the title, finishing strongly to defeat Jim McEwan in the final and lift the Isle of Man Caliburn Masters Open crown.

Final

In the final, Colley produced a composed display to defeat Jim McEwan 5–3. Colley averaged 87.97, while McEwan averaged 84.65, as the champion held his nerve in the key moments to seal the title.

Semi-Finals

Colley booked his place in the final with a thrilling 4–3 win over Ben Townley in a high-quality semi-final, averaging 92.30.

On the other side of the draw, Jim McEwan defeated Daniel Zapata 4–2, producing a strong 92.66 average to secure his place in the decider.

Quarter-Finals

The quarter-finals delivered an excellent final four lineup:

  • Ben Townley edged past Archie Self 4–3

  • Jim McEwan defeated Davie Kirwan 4–2

  • Reece Colley produced a brilliant 96.97 average in a 4–0 win over Jack Drayton

  • Daniel Zapata fired in a superb 101.59 average to beat Christopher Holt 4–2

The Masters Open featured outstanding darts from the early rounds onward, with several players producing huge averages and memorable runs.

Standout performances included:

  • Jim McEwan, who posted a brilliant 109.31 average in his Top 16 win over Paul Hogan

  • Daniel Zapata, who continued his strong festival form and averaged 101.59 in the quarter-finals

  • Ben Townley, who impressed again with a strong run to the semi-finals

  • Archie Self and Davie Kirwan, who both reached the last eight after excellent performances

  • Reece Colley, who showed consistency and timing throughout the latter stages

From the Top 512 through to the final, the event showcased the depth of talent on display at the festival, with high-standard matches across every round.
